On the evening of June 27, Phu Lam Traffic Police Team, under the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police, set up a checkpoint to conduct alcohol concentration tests on drivers in the area under Phu Lam Traffic Police Team's responsibility.
At the An Suong - Phu Lam toll station, Le Duc Tho street (old National Highway 1), Binh Hung Hoa B ward, Binh Tan district, Ho Chi Minh City, Phu Lam Traffic Police Team inspected vehicles participating in traffic and discovered many cases of drivers violating alcohol concentration, some cases exceeding the prescribed alcohol concentration level many times while driving.

Seeing the man acting suspiciously, the traffic police stopped the car to check the alcohol concentration, and found that the alcohol concentration in the breath was 1.266 mg/liter of breath, 3 times higher than the maximum limit. The traffic police asked the man to provide information, vehicle registration, and driver's license, but the man was uncooperative and did not show the vehicle registration. "I forgot my name, age, and address, I don't know whose car I was driving...", the man said.

Traffic police have notified Binh Hung Hoa B Ward Police (Binh Tan District) to invite this person to the Ward Police headquarters to work, verify his identity, and take action.
In many cases, when traffic police check and detect alcohol concentration in the body, knowing that they have violated traffic regulations, the driver is given a violation ticket and promises not to repeat the offense.

Within 2 hours, the Phu Lam Traffic Police Team discovered more than 20 cases of alcohol concentration violations while driving.
