Standards and conditions for promotion to first-class editor

The draft clearly states the standards and conditions for promotion to the professional title of editor grade I, Code: V.11.01.01:

Currently holding the professional title of editor grade II, Code: V.11.01.02.

Have held the professional title of editor level II or equivalent for at least 6 years (72 months). In case of having an equivalent period, must have held the professional title of editor level II for at least 1 year (12 months) by the deadline for submitting application for examination or promotion;

During the time holding the professional title of editor level II or equivalent, he/she has presided over or participated in editing at least 2 works that have won awards at the ministerial, sectoral or equivalent level or higher, or awards organized by the Party agency at the central level, the socio-political organization at the central level, or the Vietnam Journalists Association ; or presided over or participated in at least 2 specialized scientific research topics and programs at the ministerial, provincial or equivalent level or higher that have been issued or accepted by competent authorities.

During the time holding the professional title of editor level II (or equivalent), he/she will be awarded a certificate of merit at the ministerial or provincial level or higher for his/her achievements in professional activities.

Standards and conditions for promotion to level II editor

Currently holding the professional title of editor grade III, Code: V.11.01.03.

Have held the professional title of editor level III or equivalent for at least 9 years (108 months, not including internship or probationary period). In case of having an equivalent period, must have held the professional title of editor level III for at least 1 year (12 months) by the deadline for submitting application for examination or promotion;

During the time holding the professional title of editor level III or equivalent, he/she has presided over or participated in editing at least 1 work that won an award at the ministerial, sectoral, provincial or equivalent level or higher, or an award organized by a Central Party agency, a Central socio -political organization, or the Vietnam Journalists Association; or participated in writing a topic in at least 1 specialized scientific research topic or program from the grassroots level or higher that has been issued or accepted by a competent authority.

During the time holding the professional title of editor grade III (or equivalent), he/she will be awarded a certificate of merit at the ministerial or provincial level or higher for his/her achievements in professional activities.
