Exciting final round of National Youth Football Tournament (U13)

VHO - On the afternoon of July 3, at Binh Duong Stadium (Thu Dau Mot, Ho Chi Minh City), the final round of the Yamaha Cup 2025 National Youth Football Tournament (U13) officially opened, promising an emotional season.

Before the first matches of Group A started, the Organizing Committee held a brief opening ceremony.

Within the framework of the ceremony, the Organizing Committee presented gifts and scholarships to ethnic players, the typical faces participating in this year's final round.

This is not only timely encouragement but also shows the attention of the tournament organizers to the young generation of players across the country.

The organizing committee presented a basket of flowers to express gratitude to the local organizing committee.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, Group A kicked off with the first two matches.

In the opening match, U13 Becamex Binh Duong unfortunately dropped the victory when they let their "fellow country" team U13 Binh Duong tie 2-2.

In the remaining match, U13 Phu Tho won a valuable point after scoring an equalizer in the final minutes, ending a dramatic 1-1 draw with U13 Hanoi .

Representatives of Ho Chi Minh City leaders and the Organizing Committee presented gifts to ethnic minority players.

Previously, on the morning of July 3, matches in groups B and C also took place excitingly.

In Group B, U13 Da Nang defeated U13 Hue with a close score of 1-0, while U13 VES Ba Ria - Vung Tau defeated U13 Haduwaco Hai Duong with the same score of 1-0.

In Group C, U13 Hong Linh Ha Tinh won 2-0 against U13 Navy Phu Nhuan (HCMC), while U13 Quang Nam and U13 Nam Dinh shared points after a 1-1 draw.

The matches were full of drama.

On July 5, the final round will continue to be exciting with a series of 8 matches in all 4 groups.

Along with that, many meaningful activities are also organized to create more useful playgrounds for players and coaches.

Specifically, on the morning of July 4, the young players will participate in the program "U13 Yamaha Cup learns soccer with coach Júbilo Iwata" at Go Dau stadium.

Here, the leadership of the Júbilo Iwata football team ( Japan) will directly monitor and select outstanding faces to invite to Japan to participate in a tour and experience next October.

U13 Phu Tho was lucky to hold U13 Hanoi to a 1-1 draw.

On the afternoon of July 4, the Organizing Committee will coordinate to organize a "Workshop to exchange and share experiences in training and coaching U13 football at the Yamaha Cup and Júbilo Iwata", with the participation of coaches from 16 teams participating in the final round, to improve expertise and connect the youth football community nationwide.
