Summary of the Party's inspection, supervision and disciplinary work in the first 6 months of 2025

This afternoon, June 24, in Hanoi, the Central Inspection Commission (CIC) held an online conference to review the Party's inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement work in the first 6 months of the year, and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2025 and the coming time. According to the report of the Central Inspection Commission, in the first 6 months of 2025, inspection and supervision work was carried out with high political determination. The Central Inspection Commission and localities and units have comprehensively and effectively implemented tasks according to the provisions of the Party Charter and the tasks assigned by Party committees and steering committees on corruption prevention and control, waste and negativity at all levels.

Thanks to that, the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of inspection and supervision work have been increasingly improved, contributing significantly to the work of preventing corruption and negativity, building a clean and strong Party, actively contributing to socio-economic development, and consolidating the trust of cadres, party members and people in the Party and State.

The Central Inspection Commission has advised on the establishment of 19 delegations to grasp the situation, urge, guide, and inspect a number of key work topics in 2025 of the Politburo and Secretariat for 100% of party organizations directly under the Central Committee.

Since the beginning of the year, Party committees at all levels have inspected 10,151 Party organizations and 55,376 Party members according to Article 30 of the Party Charter. Thereby, disciplinary action was taken against 2 Party organizations and 7 Party members. Inspections were conducted when there were signs of violations against 153 Party organizations, 655 Party members, 433 Party committee members and concluded that 99 organizations and 465 Party members had violations and shortcomings; disciplinary action was considered against 46 Party organizations and 272 Party members.

Regarding the inspection, the Inspection Committee at all levels conducted inspections of 412 party organizations, 1,559 party members, and 831 party committee members when there were signs of violations. It was concluded that 323 party organizations and 1,329 party members had violations and shortcomings; 91 party organizations and 705 party members were considered for disciplinary action. Specialized supervision of party committees at all levels and party cells with 8,380 party organizations and 28,451 party members. Thereby, it was concluded that 195 party organizations and 430 party members had violations and shortcomings.

The Central Inspection Commission has promptly reviewed and advised on the promulgation of regulations, guidelines, and procedures on Party inspection, supervision, and discipline work that are synchronous, strict, and consistent with the new Party organization model after the reorganization, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation. The scope of inspection and supervision has been expanded, more comprehensive, deeper, and more closely following the Party's resolutions and directives.

At the conference, representatives of the Central Inspection Commission reported on the results of the digital transformation of the inspection sector in the past 6 months and set out tasks for the remaining time of the year. Localities and units also discussed and pointed out shortcomings and limitations in the inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement work of the Party in the first 6 months of 2025. At the same time, they agreed on the direction and tasks for the remaining 6 months and the coming time.

In Quang Tri province, in the first 6 months of 2025, Party committees, Party organizations and Inspection Commissions at all levels have focused on leading, directing and organizing the active and effective implementation of inspection and supervision tasks. In particular, focusing on inspecting Party organizations and Party members when there are signs of violations. At the same time, proactively resolving and advising Party committees to resolve petitions, complaints, denunciations and reflections, especially petitions and cases arising related to the arrangement and organization of the local government apparatus at 2 levels.

Concluding the conference, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu emphasized that, with the spirit of no forbidden zones and no exceptions, Party committees at all levels and Inspection Commissions at all levels will absorb the opinions discussed at the conference as a basis for better implementation of inspection and supervision work in the coming time.

At the same time, continue to implement the Party's regulations on inspection, supervision and Party discipline, improve the quality of inspection and supervision; resolve hot issues of public concern; promptly detect, inspect and resolutely handle Party organizations and Party members who have degraded in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, violated things Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, violated the Party's principles and regulations, State laws, corruption and negativity.

Focus on performing well the inspection and supervision work to serve the organization of party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress; promote comprehensive digital transformation, resolutely and synchronously deploy tasks to meet the requirements of "data-based supervision and data-based inspection" throughout the industry.
