The exhibition will take place from August 28 to September 5 at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi ), with the theme "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness".

The exhibition content includes: introducing and displaying the country's outstanding achievements in 80 years of construction and development in various fields, especially key areas such as industry - technology, investment - trade, agriculture - rural areas, security - defense, foreign affairs, health, education, culture, sports and tourism.

The exhibition will introduce Vietnam - Country - People with 4000 years of cultural tradition, cultural diversity of 54 ethnic groups, rich resources, products of 3 regions and outstanding architectural works past and present across the country.

At the same time, the exhibition introduces Vietnam's industries such as green industry and the green transformation journey, digital transformation; aviation and space; security - defense; space of 12 Vietnamese cultural industries. Besides, there are spaces of countries that have particularly important diplomatic relations with Vietnam.

The exhibition format is large panels, photos, drawings, documents, artifacts combined with 3D mapping projections, virtual reality experiences, multimedia audiovisual works, digital technology applications, AI...

3 exhibition areas

The general exhibition area (Kim Quy exhibition hall) has the theme "Vietnam - Journey to a new era", including horizontal slices of history and vertical slices of core values, great achievements and immortal legends of the history of building and defending the country of Vietnam, led on an experiential journey containing profound messages.

The subdivision has 6 exhibition spaces with the themes: "Vietnam - Country - People", "95 years of the Party flag lighting the way", "Development creation", "Rich province, strong country", "Economic locomotive", "Start-up to build the nation".

The outdoor exhibition area has the theme "Integration and Development", including display spaces with the themes: "For a green future", "Aspiration for the sky", "Sword and shield", "National festival" and space for performing art programs.

The international exhibition area and 12 cultural industries (block A exhibition hall) have the theme "Integration and creativity", including display spaces with the themes "Creativity for construction", "Vietnam and the world".

This afternoon, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh and Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh co-chaired the 3rd meeting of the Exhibition Steering Committee.

Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh emphasized that the time left to complete the exhibition is limited, currently calculated in days, while the workload is huge and the requirements are very high.

He requested ministries, branches and localities to focus resources to ensure assigned tasks are carried out according to plan.

Ministries, branches, local People's Committees, agencies and units have specific plans, assigning "6 clear" tasks - "clear people, clear work, clear time, clear responsibility, clear products, clear results", preparing documents, materials and the most outstanding achievements for design, display and exhibition.

Meanwhile, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh said that in the run-up to the 80th anniversary of National Day, there will be a series of events such as military parades, cultural and artistic activities, historical seminars, exhibitions, etc. The Government has set very high requirements for this exhibition: it must be very rich and comprehensive in content, closely following the chosen theme.

He noted that the methods of introducing to the public must be very diverse, including artifacts, pictures, achievements in developing digital products, and digital platforms. Localities choose and introduce cultural features, local specialties as well as art programs.

The Permanent Deputy Prime Minister stated that the exhibition must meet requirements such as high quality, international standards, creating a vibrant and exciting atmosphere for the whole country towards the 80th anniversary of National Day; leaving a strong impression not only on domestic people but also on international visitors.
