According to Hanoi City Police, behind the song “Hanoi Police in my heart – CAHN in my heart” is an emotional creative journey. Not written in a professional studio, the song is distilled from real-life experiences, the days of hard work of officers and soldiers of the Capital Police.
The idea for the song was formed from a very simple yet compelling question: "If there was a song written about ourselves - the officers and soldiers of the Capital Police - what spirit would it carry, what melody would it have and what would it say?".
From the story of the aspiration to build a people's heart for the beloved Capital; from the footsteps that never stop, no matter the storm or rain; from the image of traffic police officers keeping the streets peaceful; from the night shifts, the soldiers are ready to rush into danger to protect the people and... from the memories of fallen comrades, all have crystallized into authentic musical material, touching emotions.
Although not majoring in music, with pride in the chosen path, each melody, each lyric, each singing voice clearly shows the spirit of love for the industry, love for the profession, the desire to protect the peace of the Capital and the deep attachment to the People's Police uniform, to the roof of the Capital Police. That is not only the voice of the soldiers with the hearts of artists, but also a way to spread the beautiful, humane, and close image of the Hanoi Police soldiers in everyday life, always steadfast in the face of difficulties, devoted to the peace of life!
The song “Hanoi Police in my heart – CAHN in my heart” was completed in the context that the Capital Police force is urgently preparing for many major events to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Police Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection.
Despite the heavy workload, with a sense of responsibility, officers and soldiers of the Capital Police have made every effort to both complete their political tasks and take advantage of every short period of time outside of work to write music, record and practice performing.
This is a priceless spiritual gift to generations of officers and soldiers of Hanoi Police, to friends, people of the capital and the whole country; affirming the mark of officers of the capital police who both firmly hold the "gun" on the front line to protect national security, ensure social order and safety, and carry within themselves the flame of artistic creativity, being both soldiers and artists in everyday life.
