Workshop on connecting trade between Korean seafood industry in Vietnam

DNVN - The 2024 Korean Seafood Trade Conference in Vietnam is scheduled to be held on May 23 at Lotte Hotel Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City, organized by the Korean National Fisheries Cooperative Federation (Suhyup).

Suhyup, a unit under the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries of Korea, established the Export Support Center in 2017 to support seafood companies in Korea to enter the Vietnamese market, as well as promote the export development of K-Seafood (a famous seafood brand of the Land of Kim Chi, present in 16 countries).

This is an annual event to create connections between Korean seafood exporters and distribution partners in Vietnam, with the participation of many domestic businesses and entrepreneurs.

According to the Organizing Committee, this year's event has about 20 businesses specializing in typical Korean products such as seaweed, flounder, abalone, saba fish and processed foods.

K-Seafood is a famous seafood brand of the Land of Kim Chi, present in 16 countries and territories.
Representatives will introduce products, visions and policies to partners who want to cooperate in exporting and importing seafood from Korea. Enterprises in need will be consulted 1-1 with Korean enterprises to find products that are suitable for their business strategies and consumption trends of the seafood industry in Vietnam.

Previously, Suhyup held an online introduction on May 9 for the items that will be displayed at the workshop, giving customers the opportunity to learn about the products before coming directly to the event.

In addition, at the event, Suhyup will arrange an online consultation area via the Zoom application to support businesses that cannot participate directly.
