According to the plan, the OLED factory will be located in Yen Phong, Bac Ninh with an investment of 1.8 billion USD and the new factory is expected to come into operation in 2026.

Yen Phong, Bac Ninh is where Samsung has experience operating production lines for small and medium-sized OLED and foldable screens. Therefore, building a new factory here helps Samsung take advantage of costs and resources. This is also part of the company's global strategy to develop a flexible manufacturing center.

This new OLED plant in Vietnam will be equipped to assemble OLED panels for laptops as well as tablets, helping Samsung expand its consumer market and optimize profits. This demonstrates its vision in seizing opportunities when the demand for high-quality screens in mobile devices is increasing.
