Ronaldo and longtime girlfriend engaged

After many years of dating, superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and his longtime girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez have officially become engaged.

Georgina Rodriguez (31 years old) revealed this good news through a post on Instagram on August 11.

The Argentine model posted a photo of her left hand with a giant diamond ring on her ring finger placed on Ronaldo's hand, captioning the photo: "I do. In this life and in all other lives."

Last December, Ronaldo sparked rumours that he was getting married when he referred to Georgina as his "wife" at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai. However, no sources have confirmed the incident.

Previously, when talking about the reason why he has not married his long-time girlfriend Georgina, Ronaldo said: "It could happen in a year, or six months, or a month. I am 1,000% sure that it will happen."

Ronaldo and Georgina met in 2016, when Georgina was working at a Gucci store in Madrid (Spain).

The couple officially started dating shortly after and now have two daughters together, Alana (7) and Bella (3). Georgina also looks after Ronaldo's three other children: Cristiano Jr (15), Mateo (8) and Eva Maria (8).

Ronaldo and Georgina's family live in Riyadh, where the superstar plays for Saudi Arabia's Al Nassr club. Georgina posted an engagement update on Instagram from the Saudi capital.
