Grammy-winning rapper Lil Nas X arrested

(Dan Tri) - Famous American music star Lil Nas X was arrested for assaulting a police officer. When he was arrested, the rapper was walking half-naked on the street.

TMZ sources said that Lil Nas X attacked a police officer and was detained at a jail in Los Angeles on August 21 (US time).

In an official statement, the Los Angeles Police Department said the suspect was identified as Montero Lamar Hill (stage name Lil Nas X) and was charged with assaulting a police officer.

After his arrest, Lil Nas X was taken to the hospital for testing for a suspected drug overdose. The singer has since been released and remains in custody pending further investigation.

Hours after Lil Nas X was arrested, a photo went viral on social media showing the rapper walking down the street in the early morning of August 21, wearing only underwear and boots. The rapper’s representative has yet to make any announcement.

Last February, Lil Nas X spoke about his troubled life and plans to release new music . “The last few years have been really hard for me,” he said.

Two months later, the 1999-born singer posted a video on his personal page recording the moment he was lying in a hospital bed. At that time, Lil Nas X was being treated for facial paralysis.

Lil Nas X (born 1999) is famous worldwide for hit songs such as: Old Town Road, MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name) and Industry Baby .

Old Town Road became a global sensation in 2019, holding the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for 19 weeks. The song earned him two Grammy Awards, along with many other prestigious awards.

In late June 2019, Lil Nas X publicly came out as gay. However, along with his career successes, Lil Nas X faced many uncertainties in his personal life.

A few years ago, Lil Nas X confessed to using drugs. He also recently deleted all of his old social media posts, leaving only images and videos related to his new project.
