Launch of the train running through the New Year's Eve

Two "Spring Trains" depart from Hanoi and Saigon stations, traveling through the New Year's Eve with countdown activities and folk games, bringing new experiences to passengers.

Specifically, train SE1 departs from Hanoi station at 10:10 p.m. on January 28, 2025 and train SE4 departs from Saigon station at 7:30 p.m. on January 28, 2025. Each train is equipped with a community car, specially designed and decorated with folk cultural paintings of Tet such as flower markets and calligraphy.

The interior of the carriages is designed with peach and apricot blossoms, symbolizing Tet in the North and South, and is a check-in point on the train. These two community carriages are also where community cultural activities take place throughout the journey.

Passengers traveling on the "Spring Train" will be able to participate in many experiences on the journey, such as attending the countdown program, dessert party on the train, participating in lucky draw, folk games, and enjoying typical Tet dishes.

Ticket prices on spring trains remain the same as SE1/SE4 train tickets on other Tet holidays.

Passengers also participated in a "mobile" creative camp on the train with artists from all three regions of the North - Central - South, received portrait drawings, participated in clay modeling, and painted with artists on New Year's Day.

In 2024, the railway industry launched many tourism products such as the Central Heritage Connection Train between Da Nang - Thua Thien Hue, Da Lat Night Journey, and tourist train. Sjourney; La Reine (Queen) train operates on the Da Lat - Trai Mat route, refreshing the experience for tourists.

The train "Central Heritage Connection Journey" was voted as one of the top 9 impressive tourism products of Hue in 2024, leading the category of impressive activities and services.
