The organizing committee of FOSSASIA Summit 2024 - Asia's Information Technology (IT) and Open Source Summit has just announced that this conference will take place in Hanoi from April 8 to 10, 2024 and is looking forward to receiving the attention of the technology community in general and the open source community in particular.
FOSSASIA Summit 2024 includes two parallel activities: Workshop on the topic: "Open technology for the future of Vietnam" and Exhibition, introducing IT products and solutions from leading technology corporations. More than 150 domestic and foreign technology experts have registered to share at the Conference.
In addition to IT topics, FOSSASIA Summit also offers a space for technology solutions exhibition with the participation of "big names" such as: OpenEuler (Huawei), Google, Oracle/MySQL, ARM Holdings (a company specializing in semiconductor technology)... This is a great opportunity for technology lovers in Vietnam to interact directly with representatives from multinational companies, leading experts, and seek opportunities for cooperation, development as well as career opportunities in the IT field.

It is known that FOSSASIA Summit (or FOSSASIA Open Tech Summit) is an annual event series on IT and Open Technology first held in Ho Chi Minh City in 2009. In the following years, FOSSASIA brought Open Tech Summit to many countries in the region including: Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, India and China.
After the success of a series of events abroad, FOSSASIA Summit officially returns to Vietnam and will be held in Hanoi this coming April. Speakers will present hundreds of talks and practical workshops revolving around the most attractive technology topics today such as: Artificial Intelligence, open source chip manufacturing with RISC-V, semiconductor technology, web3 expanding cloud technology, information security and digital databases...
FOSSASIA Summit is co-organized by FOSSASIA (Singapore-Vietnam), Vietnam Free and Open Source Software Association (VFOSSA), Vietnam Internet Association (VIA) and Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT).
