The National Assembly begins the second session of the 9th Session, 15th National Assembly.

BBK - Today (June 11, 2025), the National Assembly began the first working day of the second phase, the 9th Session, the 15th National Assembly. According to the program, the second phase of the session will take place from June 11 to June 27, 2025, considering and voting to pass many draft laws and resolutions.

The National Assembly listened to the Reports and Verification Reports at the meeting hall.

On the first working morning, the National Assembly gave opinions and voted to approve the amendment and supplement to the Program of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly. Accordingly, the time was adjusted for the National Assembly to consider and decide earlier, as a basis for agencies to prepare and promptly organize the implementation of 02 contents: The Resolution of the National Assembly on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution voted to pass on June 16, 2025, along with the vote to pass the draft Law on Organization of Local Government (amended) and the vote on the Resolution of the National Assembly on the arrangement of provincial-level administrative units in 2025 on June 12, 2025.

Add 03 contents to be submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and decision, including: Resolution of the National Assembly on the International Financial Center in Vietnam; Resolution of the National Assembly on the mechanism for handling difficulties and problems due to legal regulations; organization and personnel work under the authority.

Withdraw the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific and special mechanisms and policies for investment in developing the railway system from the session agenda; at the same time, adjust the time for the National Assembly to consider and approve the draft Law on Railways (amended) from submitting for comments at the 9th Session and approving at the 10th Session to submitting for comments and approving at the 9th Session.

At the working session, the National Assembly heard the Report on the arrangement of provincial-level administrative units in 2025; the Report and Report on the examination of the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on National Defense; the Law on People's Army Officers; the Law on Professional Soldiers, Workers and National Defense Officials; the Law on Military Service; the Law on Vietnam Border Guard; the Law on People's Air Defense; the Law on Reserve Forces; the Law on Civil Defense; the Law on Management and Protection of National Defense Works and Military Zones; the Law on Militia and Self-Defense Forces; the Law on National Defense and Security Education; the Report and Report on the examination of the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on the International Financial Center in Vietnam and discussed these contents./.
