According to statistics from the Provincial Farmers' Association, by the end of May, the total capital of the Provincial Farmers' Support Fund reached over 38 billion VND. Of which, the central government's capital was over 12.8 billion VND, the provincial capital was over 15.8 billion VND, and the district's capital was over 9.6 billion VND.
To ensure that capital is used effectively and for the right purposes, the Provincial Farmers' Association focuses on inspection and supervision throughout the loan implementation process. In May 2025, the Provincial Farmers' Association inspected 8 districts and cities on the feasibility of projects for capital disbursement. In each locality, the Association selected 02 communes, each commune directly inspected 05 borrowers to visit and supervise.
As a household participating in the forest planting and care project currently being assessed, Mr. Nong Van Tieu, Na Bjoóc village, Phuong Vien commune (Cho Don) expressed: “With 50 million VND borrowed from the Fund, my family bought seedlings and fertilizers to plant more than 2 hectares of forest. Hopefully, in the next few years, the forest will be harvested, helping us improve our income and stabilize our lives.”
All loan projects are used for the right purposes, borrowers are trained and transferred science and technology before disbursement; the rate of overdue debt is gradually decreasing, there is no loss of funds. Farmers' Associations at all levels regularly urge overdue debt households, coordinate with the Justice sector to organize legal advice and legal aid for overdue debt borrowers so that borrowers clearly understand their rights and obligations to repay the Fund.
Ms. Vu Thi Hong Thu, Vice President of the Provincial Farmers' Association, affirmed: The process of approving and monitoring capital sources is strictly implemented, from the stage of surveying needs, assessing actual conditions to providing technical training. After disbursement, inspection and monitoring work continues to be maintained, ensuring that capital is used for the right purpose. Thanks to that, credit quality is guaranteed, and borrowers all pay interest and deposit savings on time.

Not only a financial "lever", the Farmer Support Fund is also a bridge to help farmers access science and technology, change production thinking, and gradually develop the economy in a sustainable direction.
When implementing projects, the Association at all levels has promoted and mobilized farmer members to borrow capital to participate in groups (cooperative groups, professional farmer associations) to reduce costs for purchasing materials, fertilizers, food, etc. At the same time, it has increased the exchange and sharing of experiences among members, thereby contributing to increasing productivity and income of borrowers. The average income of each project is from 30 - 50 million VND/household/year.
Through lending activities, the Provincial Farmers Support Fund has created conditions for Farmers' Associations at all levels to promote the propaganda of the Party and State's policies on agricultural , farmer and rural development. Thanks to that, the Associations at all levels have had the opportunity to innovate the content and methods of operation, improve the quality of activities of branches and groups associated with consulting, services, vocational training and job creation support.
The capital of the Bac Kan Farmers Support Fund has made an important contribution to the implementation of emulation movements and campaigns launched by the Farmers' Association, in which the movement "Farmers compete in good production and business, unite to help each other get rich and reduce poverty sustainably" has been widely spread. The Fund's activities not only help members develop production, increase income, improve their lives, but also contribute to building a strong Association organization, attracting farmers to participate.
Currently, Farmers’ Associations at all levels are strengthening propaganda, mobilizing more resources, expanding the scale and replicating models suitable to local practical conditions. The close and practical support from the Association not only brings capital opportunities but also instills trust, companionship and arouses the desire to get rich in each farmer member./.
