Attending the program, at the Ho Chi Minh Square bridge (Dong Hoi ward) were: Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee Le Ngoc Quang; Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Long Hai; Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Phong.
At the bridge point of the Provincial Cultural and Cinema Center Square (Nam Dong Ha ward), there were provincial leaders and many local people.
With the theme “Quang Tri - Convergence and Shine”, the special art program aims to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2, welcome the merger of Quang Tri province and look forward to the first Congress of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030.
Speaking at the program, Secretary of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee Le Ngoc Quang reviewed the 80-year journey of national founding and fighting for independence and unification with brilliant milestones in the history of the nation and the heroic homeland of Quang Binh - Quang Tri.
Highlighting the significance of the important event of Quang Binh-Quang Tri "coming under one roof", together writing a new history page with a higher level of unity, comrade Le Ngoc Quang emphasized that this is not only a territorial unification but also a blend of culture, history and people, to create a brighter future for today's and future generations. Along with affirming the strategic position, natural potential and resilient people as the foundation, the Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee emphasized the groups of solutions to focus on implementing in the coming time so that Quang Tri can enter a new era of greater prosperity.
The special art program “Quang Tri - Convergence and Shine” was elaborately staged with the participation of famous artists from all over the country, including artists born and raised in Quang Tri.
With 3 chapters: Under the glorious Party flag; Quang Tri gathers the elite - shines the future and Quang Tri - proudly steps into the new era, the program is a symphony of sound and light, vividly reviewing the glorious history of the nation, affirming pride and love for the homeland and country. In particular, the program also introduces new songs about Quang Tri after the unification. This is the first time the works are published, this is like a spiritual gift sent to the people of the province about the image of a new province rich in tradition, with many potentials and aspirations.
The program ended with a fireworks display to celebrate the national holiday, bringing joy to tens of thousands of people, even though it was raining heavily in Dong Hoi.
