On July 25, Mr. Pham Xuan Thanh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Yen Tu Ward, Quang Ninh Province, said that the health of some workers showing signs of suspected food poisoning at Tian Jian Vietnam Limited Liability Company, located in Tan Lap 2 area, Yen Tu Ward, Quang Ninh Province, has stabilized and they are back to work as usual.
Previously, at around 10:00 a.m. on July 24, Yen Tu Ward People's Committee received information about a worker showing signs of food poisoning at Tian Jian Vietnam Co., Ltd.
Immediately after receiving the news, Yen Tu Ward People's Committee directed the establishment of an interdisciplinary inspection team to conduct an inspection and verification to clarify the incident.
Through inspection at the company, 8 people had symptoms of abdominal pain, frequent diarrhea, no nausea, no fever, suspected food poisoning. Currently, these workers are still working, normal health.
The inspection team requested the company to continue to strictly comply with the provisions of the law on foreign enterprises' business activities in our country; continue to assign staff to monitor the health of workers. If there are signs of suspected food poisoning when there are unusual signs in the health of workers, the unit must immediately contact the health agency and related units to take timely measures to handle and respond to ensure the health safety of workers.
On the same day, the People's Committee of Yen Tu Ward issued a document requesting the People's Committee of Mao Khe Ward (Quang Ninh Province) to coordinate in inspecting Duc Anh Trading and Service Company Limited, Vinh Xuan area, Mao Khe Ward, Quang Ninh Province, which is the unit providing daily meals for workers to ensure food hygiene and safety for workers and people in the ward.
The case is currently being investigated by the authorities./.
