Son Tay organizes the art program "Song of Gratitude"

On the evening of July 27, at the main stage of Son Tay Ancient Citadel walking street, Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports in coordination with Son Tay Ward Culture - Information and Sports Center organized an art program with the theme "Song of Gratitude".

The program aims to commemorate and pay tribute to the nation's outstanding sons who fell for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Son Tay Ward Party Committee Le Dai Thang said that with the theme "Song of Gratitude", the program includes many excerpts and special performances performed by artists and actors of the Cai Luong Theater. The touching images, stories and special art performances contribute to arousing pride and deep gratitude to the previous generation - those who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, thereby further appreciating the value of peace today.

The song of gratitude is directed by Meritorious Artist Bach Quang Tuan; Director, Musician Pham Ba Chinh is the art director.

In the stage lights and the melody of sacred music, the audience seemed to return to the arduous but heroic years of the nation, to the tragic war - where millions of ordinary people put aside their youth to fight for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. They are the symbols of indomitable spirit, silent sacrifice and the strength of solidarity that created pages of history that made the whole world bow.

Each melody, each lyric recreates the image of the army of twenty years old leaving with no return date, the wounded soldiers leaving behind a part of their flesh and blood, and the mothers and wives silently swallowing their tears. They believe that during the day, they are white clouds in the blue sky, and at night, they turn into sparkling stars illuminating their homeland...

The program features famous artists such as: People's Artist Thanh Huong, Dao Trung; Meritorious Artist Quang Tuan, Hong Nhung, Hoang Vien...

The song of gratitude is not simply an art program, but also a message to today's generation to live gratefully and contribute. The heroic martyrs who fell in the wars to defend the country are the spiritual support and pride to continue the immortal flow of the nation. They devoted their youth and blood to pave the way for a peaceful future.
