* Ms. Vo Thi Thu Thuy - resident of Nha Trang ward: Changing habits for a better living environment
Mrs. Vo Thi Thu Thuy. |
Although disposable plastic products are very convenient, they are causing negative consequences for the environment and health. Therefore, I fully support the restriction of the use of disposable plastic products. I myself often bring my own water bottle to use instead of buying plastic bottled water or bring containers when buying take-out food to avoid using plastic products. This not only saves money but also significantly reduces plastic waste. In business, I prioritize choosing products with packaging made of paper, when packing products for customers to take away, I also use paper bags... I think, each person just needs to change their habits, prioritize environmentally friendly products, then limiting disposable plastic products is not too difficult. Let's start with small things that will help the living environment become greener and cleaner.
* Mr. Nguyen Hoa Anh Khoa (tourist from Lam Dong province): Need to increase collection and treatment of waste at sea
Mr. Nguyen Hoa Anh Khoa. |
The sea and islands of Nha Trang are very beautiful, the water is clear and the climate is ideal, which is the reason I have come to travel many times. When we went swimming and had fun in the areas of Bai Tranh, Lang Chai, Hon Tam, etc., what impressed me was that when getting on the canoe, the tourists did not bring disposable plastic products; on the pier and canoe, there were signs promoting and instructing tourists to throw their trash in the right place. However, when I went to the islands, I still saw a lot of plastic waste, nylon bags, and foam bags drifting to the shore and on the cages and rafts serving food and drink in Nha Trang Bay, there was still a lot of trash scattered and falling into the sea. I hope that the local government will continue to have solutions to collect and treat trash to protect the marine environment, attracting more and more tourists to the sea and islands of Khanh Hoa.
