Quang Ngai builds first land price list, applicable from 2026

(QNgTV) - The People's Committee of Quang Ngai province has just approved the Project to develop the first Land Price List in the area, expected to be announced and applied from January 1, 2026. This is considered an important step to implement the 2024 Land Law, Decree No. 71/2024/ND-CP and in accordance with the actual situation of the locality after the merger.

Quang Ngai builds a new land price list applicable from 2026, ensuring it is realistic, transparent, consistent with the 2024 Land Law and the local situation after the merger.

Quang Ngai Province has approved the Project to develop the first Land Price List in the province to be announced and applied from January 1, 2026. The new Land Price List will be built uniformly throughout the province, updating land types, roads, and residential areas that have not been regulated or have just been invested and put into use. Roads that have been upgraded or changed in the past will also be reviewed and adjusted.

The survey will be conducted in 100% of communes, wards and special zones, including 11 types of land: land for growing other annual crops; land for growing perennial crops; production forest land; aquaculture land; salt-making land; urban residential land; rural residential land; land in industrial parks and industrial clusters; commercial and service land; non- agricultural production land and land used for mineral activities.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment is assigned to be the lead agency, coordinating with units and localities to develop a plan, organize implementation and complete the project in November 2025, and submit it to competent authorities for consideration and decision. At the same time, the department will organize a bidding to select a consulting unit with sufficient capacity and price appraisal functions to carry out the investigation and survey work.

The total estimated cost of the project is nearly 4.3 billion VND, allocated from the provincial budget.
