Thanh Duc Bridge across Sa Huynh estuary in Quang Ngai has been completed and is ready to open to traffic to serve people's travel needs, completing local infrastructure to create momentum for development.
The new bridge is built about 250m north of the current Thanh Duc bridge, to replace the degraded structure that cannot meet the traffic and development needs after many years of use. The new bridge will act as an East-West axis, connecting the residential area in the East of Sa Huynh - the future Dung Quat - Sa Huynh coastal road with National Highway 1 in the West, crossing the Sa Huynh Urban Area Project.
The project has a total investment of 265 billion VND, with coordinates, elevations, route directions and construction site handed over in November 2023. The project is invested by the Duc Pho Area Land Fund Development and Investment Project Management Board.
The new Thanh Duc Bridge consists of two main components: the bridge and the approach roads at both ends of the bridge. All components will be completed by early August 2025.
In the coming time, Quang Ngai Department of Construction will organize acceptance work, complete procedures according to regulations to hand over and open the project to traffic.
