Care and build a team of female staff

Implementing the national strategy on gender equality, Thuan Chau district pays attention to and creates conditions for female cadres to study, strive, and actively contribute to the development of the district.

Thuan Chau district leaders presented flowers to congratulate female leaders and managers at district and commune levels.

Thuan Chau District Party Committee has directed grassroots party organizations to review and implement the goals of female cadres and ethnic minority cadres working in agencies, units and localities in accordance with the population structure. Mr. Dinh Manh Hung, Vice Chairman of Thuan Chau District People's Committee, informed: The District People's Committee directs, consolidates, improves and promotes the role of the District Women's Advancement Committee, advises the District People's Committee to implement programs, plans, projects and proposals of the State and authorities at all levels on women's advancement and women's work.

The District Department of Internal Affairs advises the District People's Committee to review, plan, and ensure that leadership and management positions have an appropriate female cadre structure. In the past 5 years, Party committees at all levels have sent 9 female cadres to attend advanced political theory training; 176 cadres to study intermediate political science; 35 comrades to study university in various majors; 11 comrades to study postgraduate.

Up to now, Thuan Chau district has a rate of female cadres participating in the district Party Committee reaching 17%; female cadres participating in the commune and town Party Committee reaching 16%; female delegates of the district People's Council reaching 34.3%; People's Councils at the commune and town level reaching 27.9%. The whole district has 2,456 women admitted to the Party, accounting for 25.5%; the rate of female cadres leading agencies and units at the district level is 44.5%; at the commune level 13%. Through practical work, the team of female cadres has demonstrated their capacity in operating, managing, building and gathering the masses, acting as the core in movements, contributing to the implementation of the goal of hunger eradication and poverty reduction in the locality.

With 21 years of working experience, through positions from civil servant of the People's Council - People's Committee office, Vice Chairman of the People's Council, Secretary of the Party Committee of Muong Khieng commune, Bac Thi Binh always studies, completes degrees and certificates to serve her work well. Ms. Binh said: Thanks to the support of superiors and family, I can fulfill my duty to my family and complete the assigned work well.

Ms. Lo Thi Dien, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phong Ly commune, shared: I always strive to improve my qualifications, gain more leadership and management experience, and contribute with the collective leadership of the people to develop the socio -economy and build new rural areas.

Focus on planning, training, arranging, appointing, mobilizing, and rotating female cadres to participate in leadership and management at all levels, in order to increase the proportion of female leaders and managers in Party committees, governments, the Fatherland Front , socio-political organizations, etc., gradually reducing the gender gap in local areas. Create conditions for female cadres to participate in training and development to improve their professional qualifications, meeting the requirements and tasks set forth.
