Attending the program were the Standing Committee of the City Red Cross Society, members of the City's Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation; leaders of Duong Kinh district along with a large number of cadres, civil servants, public employees, youth union members, volunteers and local people.
The Red Journey Program is a national blood donation communication and mobilization campaign held annually to overcome the shortage of blood during the summer, while spreading the humane message about the noble act of "Donating blood to save lives". In Duong Kinh district, the program attracted about 550 people to register to participate, expected to receive more than 350 units of safe blood to serve the emergency and treatment of patients. Voluntary blood donation has become a widespread movement, demonstrating the sense of responsibility, love and sharing of local officials and people towards the community.
Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee presented flowers and expressed gratitude to the outstanding blood donors, expressing respect for the noble gesture of "each drop of blood given, a life remains".
The blood donation festival in Duong Kinh district is a practical activity in response to the Month of Action for Blood Donors in 2025 and towards the International Blood Donor Day on June 14, contributing to effectively implementing the goal of taking care of people's health in Hai Phong city.
