Stepping onto Truong Sa Island, everyone was moved when seeing the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House built solemnly in the center of the island. According to Mr. Can Ngoc Son - Chairman of Truong Sa Town People's Committee, the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House is a red addressfor educating the revolutionary tradition of the town's army and people. On national holidays or when visiting delegations, the army and people here hold incense and flower offering ceremonies to commemorate Uncle Ho's merits. At the same time, they organize activities to educate revolutionary traditions and patriotism for cadres, soldiers and people on the island.

Every year, Truong Sa town carries out the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in conjunction with the implementation of each individual's tasks. Every month and every quarter, units organize specialized activities, telling stories about Uncle Ho for cadres, soldiers and people to study and follow. From there, everyone strives to compete from the smallest things such as using fresh water sources reasonably; collecting and classifying waste in daily life to protect the environment, while creating a source of organic fertilizer to fertilize vegetables and plants; all types of machinery and equipment on the island are used according to regulations and regularly maintained to avoid damage. Every branch, blade of grass, and landscape on the island is taken care of and built by the army and people together. Everyone shares the will and determination to protect and build the island stronger and stronger.

In particular, Truong Sa has always been a solid support for fishermen to confidently go out to sea to catch seafood. Since the beginning of 2024, the military and people of Truong Sa island have guided more than 1,300 fishing boats to enter and exit the storm shelter; supported the repair of 15 fishing boats; provided 550 national flags, 110 life jackets, 550,000 liters of fresh water, 1,500 kg of green vegetables and provided emergency care and treatment for more than 600 fishermen.

In Truong Sa, on all islands and island points, there are Ho Chi Minh tradition rooms, which are also reading rooms for cadres, soldiers and people on the island. Soldier Nguyen Thanh Binh shared: “Every day, after training and patrolling on the island, we go to the tradition room to read books to supplement our knowledge. I often read books written about Uncle Ho. Reading those pages helps me understand more clearly about Uncle Ho's sacrifice and dedication to the country and the people. Uncle Ho's very simple sayings and advice have helped me understand many good values ​​and realize that I must study and practice more actively, be ready to fight and sacrifice to firmly protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland”.
