Long Bien Ward launches gift giving on the occasion of National Day September 2

HNP - On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the People's Committee of Long Bien Ward has launched a gift giving program to all local people. This is not only an annual social security activity, but also carries a deep sense of gratitude, affirming the close connection between the Party, the State and the People.

Comrade Nguyen Manh Ha, Party Secretary, Chairman of Long Bien Ward People's Council, and comrade Hoang Hai, Deputy Party Secretary, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee directly inspected and gave gifts to all people in the area.

Simultaneous implementation, transparent, right target

According to the People's Committee of Long Bien Ward, since the City's direction, the plan has been carefully prepared with the participation of 100% of the political system, from the ward to the residential groups. The gift payment was organized simultaneously at 37 points, ensuring publicity, transparency, fairness and timeliness.

According to regulations, the recipients of the gifts are Vietnamese citizens and people of Vietnamese origin whose nationality has not been determined but who have identity papers and have been assigned a personal identification number in the national population database before August 30, 2025. Each citizen will receive a gift worth VND 100,000 in cash or by bank transfer. For convenience, the gift giving is done by household, the head of the household or an authorized person will receive it on behalf of the members.

Ms. Tran Thi Mai, a resident of CT2B apartment building, said: “Not only did we receive gifts, we also received support from the youth union members to install the VNeID and iHanoi applications. This is very practical, helping everyone raise their awareness of digital citizenship. This is truly a double gift = both gratitude and accompanying development.”

In particular, the enthusiastic participation of youth union members and residential group cadres has contributed to spreading the spirit of solidarity and community responsibility.
