This is a practical activity to celebrate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025) of the ward.

Speaking at the ceremony, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Dinh Cong Ward Khuong Quoc Hung emphasized that Dinh Cong is a ward with a revolutionary tradition in the capital. With the tradition of drinking water and remembering its source, the ward has focused on implementing policies for people with revolutionary contributions. In addition to presenting gifts from the President and the city, with a total amount of more than 1.26 billion VND, the ward also presented gifts worth more than 300 million VND to families with preferential policies, people with revolutionary contributions and organized many activities of "Repaying gratitude"...

The program aims to express the gratitude of the Party, government and medical staff towards heroic martyrs, wounded soldiers and families of people with meritorious services.
This is also an opportunity to contribute to educating the tradition for union members, youth, and young cadres, demonstrating the responsibility of today's generation towards heroic martyrs, wounded soldiers, and families with meritorious services to the revolution.
The activity also contributes to the good implementation of the military rear policy, strengthening the solidarity between the army and the people, making health care for people with meritorious services a widespread movement throughout Dinh Cong ward.

During the program, 327 policy beneficiaries and meritorious people were examined, consulted and given medicine. On this occasion, the Military Traditional Medicine Institute presented 6 gifts to typical policy beneficiaries and meritorious people in Dinh Cong ward. Due to health reasons, Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Manh could not attend, so a representative of the Military Traditional Medicine Institute came to present gifts and perform a health check at her home.
Ms. Do Thi Minh (81 years old, family of a martyr) shared: “The program took place on time, in a disciplined and meaningful manner. In particular, the organization was very good, with thoughtful children welcoming us from the door, guiding us from the moment we entered until we left. The doctors examined us carefully, asking us detailed questions before consulting on our health and prescribing medicine.”
