On the afternoon of June 16, Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee held a press conference to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025) and award the 7th Nguyen Van Linh Journalism Award in 2025.
At the conference, delegates reviewed the glorious tradition of Vietnam's revolutionary press, affirmed the great contributions of the press to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation; at the same time honored and expressed gratitude to generations of journalists and journalists who have been dedicating their intelligence, courage and enthusiasm to their homeland and country.
Mr. Le Cong Tuan, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association, emphasized that contributing to the achievements of Vietnam's revolutionary journalism, Hung Yen press promptly reflects, accurately and comprehensively informs daily developments in all fields.
Each journalistic work becomes a bridge connecting the Party's will and the people's heart, arousing the desire to rise up, spreading good values, multiplying advanced examples; cultivating the mettle, intelligence, will and aspirations of Hung Yen people; creating spiritual motivation and endogenous strength to promote the construction, integration and development of the homeland and country.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee of the 7th Nguyen Van Linh Journalism Award 2025 organized an award ceremony for the winning authors and groups of authors.
The 7th Nguyen Van Linh Journalism Award in 2025 has more than 90 works in 4 types of journalism participating.
After 2 preliminary and final rounds, the Organizing Committee recognized the award results for 38 works, including: 5 works won A prize, 10 works won B prize, 13 works won C prize and 10 works won consolation prize.
VNA won the A Prize in the Electronic Newspaper category with a series of three articles by author Nguyen Manh Khanh titled: " Handling difficult tasks, removing "bottlenecks" in land clearance - Experience from Hung Yen ."
According to the assessment of the Final Jury, the quality of the participating works has been improved, especially for the categories of visual and audio journalism. The works are rich in themes, closely following events, discovering and mentioning many new, difficult and urgent issues that have been and are being raised in practice, thereby clearly demonstrating the political determination, efforts and important results of Hung Yen province in the work of Party building and the political system, contributing to realizing the goal of building Hung Yen province to develop rapidly and sustainably according to the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress.

Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Tran Quoc Toan hoped that press and media agencies and the entire team of journalists in the province would strive to fulfill their assigned missions, carry out major and key topics from now until the 14th National Congress of the Party, on the new era - the era of national growth, on the revolution of streamlining the apparatus of the political system...
At the conference, the Organizing Committee of the Nguyen Van Linh Journalism Award presented awards to authors and groups of authors whose works won prizes. Five authors and groups of authors whose works won A prizes were awarded certificates of merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee./.
