On the afternoon of August 22, at the National Exhibition Fair Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi), the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism presided over and coordinated with relevant agencies to organize the opening of the Exhibition Press Center and a press conference on the exhibition of national achievements "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness."
Attending the event were delegates: Mr. Mai Van Chinh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister; Mr. Lai Xuan Mon, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission; Mr. Le Hai Binh, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism ; along with representatives of leaders of central departments, ministries and branches, reporters from domestic and international news agencies and newspapers.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh stated that the exhibition of national achievements - taking place from August 28 to September 5 - is an event of special significance to honor history and introduce the achievements of the Party, State and people in the process of building, protecting and developing the country over the past 80 years.

Mr. Le Hai Binh affirmed the leadership role of the Party, the management and administration of the State, the consensus, creativity and efforts of the entire nation in the cause of national construction and development, contributing to promoting the strength of great national unity.
"The exhibition is not only a place to admire valuable artifacts, documents and images, but also a space to display the country's development achievements so that every citizen, especially the young generation, can relive historical moments, understand more deeply the value of independence and freedom, as well as understand more deeply the aspirations, will and intelligence of Vietnam," Mr. Le Hai Binh emphasized.
According to the Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, press information work contributes significantly to the success of activities within the framework of the National Achievements Exhibition.

The Press Center will be the place to organize, direct and guide press activities related to the Exhibition, providing the best information and services for domestic and foreign reporters.
Domestic and foreign reporters will be provided with the best services for their work. The ultimate goal is to contribute to the overall success of the exhibition and the pride center of the Vietnamese people, as well as to the overall success of the events celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong said that the exhibition construction is currently on schedule. Although the booths are still installing equipment, it can be seen that the overall space is harmonious, reasonable, and contains many interesting and attractive things.

"The exhibition meets the requirements of political ideology, has rich content and meets artistic elements. There are contents that seem dry and technical but are presented very attractively," said Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong.
Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong revealed the exhibition space for 12 cultural industries, showing the most outstanding and impressive content about game shows, fashion, performing arts, cinema, handicrafts, publishing, and tourism.
In addition to the exhibition space, visitors can experience art forms in the stage area, virtual gallery, 200-seat cinema room, and attend exchanges with artists and actors.
Speaking at the press conference, Deputy Foreign Minister Le Thu Hang said the upcoming event will be attended by many international delegates, including high-ranking delegations, political parties, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of National Defense; foreign press delegations; overseas Vietnamese and international friends - those who have supported Vietnam in many fields over the past 80 years./.
The exhibition of national achievements will take place at the National Exhibition and Fair Center from August 28 to September 5 with the theme "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness." The exhibition introduces and displays the country's outstanding achievements in 80 years of construction and development in various fields.
Thereby, arousing pride in the glorious historical tradition of the country over the past 80 years to motivate and inspire our nation to enter a new era, an era of rich, civilized and prosperous development.
This is also an opportunity to introduce to international friends the 80-year achievements of our country, contributing to promoting the image of a renewed, dynamic, and deeply internationally integrated Vietnam to friends in the region and the world.
The exhibition is open free of charge to the public and visitors.
