The delegation included representatives from central ministries and branches. On the side of Khanh Hoa province, there was comrade Nghiem Xuan Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and leaders of relevant departments, branches and localities.
The survey aims to review the current status of land and infrastructure, and listen to the thoughts and aspirations of people in the planning area, as a basis for ministries and branches to continue researching and orienting development in the coming time.
During the inspection, the Deputy Prime Minister also visited and presented gifts to a number of households in the project area.
According to the report of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, the total area recovered for the two projects according to Decision No. 794/QD-TTg dated June 8, 2015 of the Prime Minister is 1,279.52 hectares, related to 1,288 households with 4,911 people. However, according to updates from the locality, the current reality is 1,129.14 hectares, related to 1,153 households with 5,229 people.
Specifically: Ninh Thuan 1 Nuclear Power Plant Project (Phuoc Dinh commune): area of 485.54ha, including factory area (409.53ha), resettlement area (64.85ha), cemetery (10.82ha), resettlement water supply system (0.34ha).
Ninh Thuan 2 Nuclear Power Plant Project (Vinh Hai Commune): area of 643.60ha, including factory area (404.5ha), resettlement area (54.4ha), residential improvement area (13.4ha), resettlement area (159.6ha), cemetery (11.45ha), pumping station (0.25ha).
After the site inspection, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son and the working delegation will work with the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee on the implementation of resettlement projects, serving the development planning and infrastructure preparation for two nuclear power projects.
