In the past 7 months, the entire Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism has completed 11/25 assigned tasks, including key tasks such as: Action Program of the Tourism Industry in 2025; building a set of criteria for evaluating green tourism in Khanh Hoa province; organizing the 15th Provincial Mobile Propaganda Festival; building a Project to merge specialized agencies and public service units under the Provincial People's Committee after the arrangement of provincial administrative units... and 1 breakthrough task on the Strategy for developing physical education and sports in Vietnam to 2030, with a vision to 2045. The Department is implementing 11 other key tasks such as: Report on proposing investment policy for the Yersin Museum construction project; approving investment policy for the project to restore the relics of 5 Cau Da villas; investing in the project to restore the relics of the tomb of Minister Nguyen Xuan Thuc, Binh Tay communal house, and the tomb of doctor A. Yersin; Approving the Project to Preserve and Promote the Value of Dien Khanh Citadel Relics...

From now until the end of the year, the department will continue to carry out key tasks in the fields of culture, sports, tourism management, information - press and publishing, especially large-scale activities and events such as: VnExpress Marathon Nha Trang; final round of Miss Ocean Vietnam; Cham ethnic cultural festival associated with Kate Festival; international kite surfing tournament; organizing activities to stimulate demand and attract international tourists ...

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Long Bien assessed that the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has made efforts to complete the set policies and tasks; organized many large-scale cultural, sports and tourism events, creating an impression on the people and tourists. In the coming time, the whole sector will continue to focus on implementing key and breakthrough tasks to achieve the highest results; have a strategic mindset to elevate Khanh Hoa tourism development to a new level, worthy of being one of the four pillars of economic development of the province; continue to closely follow the instructions of the Provincial Party Committee on the development of culture and people of Khanh Hoa; pay attention to the work of preserving cultural heritage; review Cham temple relics to have plans for restoration and embellishment; elevate cultural events, connect them into a series of activities to attract tourists; focus on successfully organizing sports tournaments taking place in the province to enhance the promotion of the local image...
