Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan visited and congratulated Ninh Binh province on the occasion of the 2nd Ninh Binh Trang An Festival.

On the afternoon of December 26, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan visited and congratulated the Party Committee, government and people of Ninh Binh province on the occasion of the organization of the 2nd Ninh Binh-Trang An Festival in 2023.

Welcoming the VicePresident were comrades: Doan Minh Huan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Dinh Viet Dung, member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office and the Provincial People's Committee Office.

Expressing his joy and excitement to welcome the Vice President and the delegation to visit Ninh Binh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Doan Minh Huan quickly reported on the province's socio -economic development situation in 2023. He emphasized: In 2023, the province completed and exceeded 14/17 planned targets, of which 11 targets exceeded the plan.

The Provincial Party Secretary also said that, based on the achievements and the practical situation, the province is focusing on implementing very large and strategic viewpoints, goals and tasks that reflect the great aspirations of the Party Committee, government and people, namely: Building Ninh Binh province to become a fairly developed province by 2030, basically meeting the criteria of a centrally-run city; by 2035 becoming a centrally-run city, a typical model of harmoniously combining restoration, heritage conservation and development. Reporting to the Vice President about the 2nd Ninh Binh-Trang An Festival, the Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that this is an outstanding cultural-tourism event, a unique festival brand of Ninh Binh province to promote cultural exchange activities and honor cultural heritages associated with tourism development. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for Ninh Binh to promote the potential, strengths, and unique cultural features of the land and people of the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, attract domestic and foreign tourists, and expand investment cooperation opportunities.

The Provincial Party Secretary hopes that in the coming time, he will continue to receive the attention, leadership and direction of the Party and State leaders, including the Vice President, so that Ninh Binh can soon achieve the goal of becoming a centrally-run city by 2035, contributing to building an increasingly prosperous country.

Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan expressed her joy at visiting Ninh Binh - a land rich in historical and cultural traditions. Recognizing and appreciating the results that Ninh Binh province has achieved in recent times, the Vice President also said that these are the results of the joint efforts, consensus, dynamism and creativity of the Party Committee, army and people in the province, especially the outstanding achievements in socio-economic development and budget collection. Ninh Binh is also one of the few localities in the country that balances its own budget and regulates revenue to the Central Government. In particular, the beautiful natural scenery and the warm, friendly and hospitable people of Ninh Binh have left many good impressions on international friends.

Appreciating the province's leadership and direction in tourism development, the Vice President emphasized that tourism is not only a unique development resource of Ninh Binh but also a development resource of the country. Therefore, in the coming time, Ninh Binh needs to continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, dynamism and creativity to exploit more strongly its own potentials and advantages in terms of nature, culture and human resources to make Ninh Binh increasingly develop, becoming a locality with high and comprehensive development speed in all fields.
