Jumbo revolves around Don, a 10-year-old orphan boy, often called "Jumbo" by his friends because of his chubby body and shy personality. Don's life changes when he accidentally discovers a fairy tale book left by his parents and meets Meri, a magical little fairy.

Jumbo sends a message about accepting differences and connecting love.

Together, Don and Meri enter a fantasy world where lessons of courage, friendship and self-worth are revealed. Jumbo 's world is not just for children, it is a space where adults can reflect on themselves too: forgotten wounds, set aside dreams and the desire to be recognized.

The film was conceived and produced over a period of 5 years by Visinema Studios - a prominent Indonesian film studio. Director Ryan Adriandhy and his team of writers and artists put their heart and soul into every frame, combining modern animation technology with a strong Asian storytelling style.

The work is also voiced by a top cast such as Prince Poetiray (Don), Quinn Salman (Meri), Bunga Citra Lestari (Don's mother), and has received many positive reviews from international experts and audiences.

Variety commented: "Jumbo is proof that Southeast Asia can absolutely make global stories." Meanwhile, Cinema Today gave a review: "One of the best animated films of the year. Subtle, profound and full of emotion."

In terms of box office performance, after just one week of showing in Indonesia, Jumbo attracted more than 1 million viewers, and reached the 2 million ticket mark on the 11th day. The film has now reached a revenue of more than 10 million USD in the domestic market, making it the highest-grossing film of 2025 in Indonesia to date.

This is also the highest-grossing animated film in Southeast Asia. Previously, this record belonged to Mechamato Movie (2022) with a revenue of 7.68 million USD.

Jumbo currently has a total box office revenue of more than 26 million USD.
