Up to now, the province's traffic infrastructure has been gradually completed, with high connectivity and connection between localities in the province and with other provinces and cities, contributing to expanding urban space, gradually forming the urban infrastructure framework of Vinh Phuc.
The power grid system from high voltage to medium voltage, low voltage is invested synchronously and effectively, meeting the demand for safe and stable power supply for people and businesses. Clean water supply infrastructure for people is focused on investment, the quality of water sources is basically guaranteed, the rate of revenue loss and clean water loss continuously decreases every year; the rate of urban population with access to clean water increases by an average of 2 - 3%/year.
Telecommunications infrastructure has been developed with 5 telephone service providers and 5 Internet service providers; businesses have focused on investing in service quality with 3,100 BTS stations, 3G, 4G, 5G mobile coverage...
Identifying the construction of transport infrastructure with the motto "going first to pave the way" as a breakthrough in socio-economic development, the province always pays attention to allocating resources to invest in transport works.
In the period of 2021 - 2025, the demand for investment, renovation, upgrading and construction of transport infrastructure in the province is nearly 18 trillion VND. Up to now, the province's transport infrastructure has been invested quite synchronously, connecting roads, railways and waterways; in accordance with the approved planning, in line with the socio-economic development goals of the province.
Many traffic works have been invested and put into use such as Vinh Thinh bridge, Vinh Phu bridge; the road from Bi La bridge to Lap Thach town center; Ring Road 2 section from National Highway 2B - National Highway 2C and section from National Highway 2 - Khai Quang Industrial Park... synchronized with the regional traffic network, ensuring connectivity with key economic areas, industrial parks and Hanoi capital, which is a great advantage to exploit and promote the province's potential and advantages in attracting investment.
Notably, the project to upgrade and expand the route connecting Noi Bai International Airport through Soc Son satellite urban area to Dai Lai tourist area, Phuc Yen city is one of the key projects of inter-regional nature in economic development that has just been approved by the Hanoi People's Committee for investment policy.
With a total investment of nearly 1,500 billion VND, the project is about 10km long, expected to be implemented in the period of 2026-2029. After completion and put into use, it will not only strengthen the traffic infrastructure connection between Phuc Yen city and Hanoi capital but also promote tourism development of the two localities, making an important contribution to the economic growth of the province.
Strategic infrastructure development has actively contributed to the continuous increase in economic scale. Up to now, the GRDP value at current prices of the province has reached about 185 trillion VND.
As of May 15, the province's FDI capital attraction reached more than 218 million USD, equal to 60.1% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council, equal to 44.9% of the same period in 2024; the province's DDI capital attraction (including capital adjustment and increase) reached more than 4,200 billion VND, exceeding 40.09% of the plan at the beginning of the year; total budget revenue in the area reached nearly 14 trillion VND, up 6.04% over the same period...
Realizing the goal of building Vinh Phuc with a synchronous and modern infrastructure, an economic scale among the top 10 provinces and cities in the country... according to the Action Program of the Provincial Party Committee's Executive Committee, term XVII, on socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security in the Red River Delta region by 2030, with a vision to 2045, the province continues to report to the Government and submit to the National Assembly for early approval of the Resolution on piloting the removal of a number of mechanisms and policies stipulated in laws to invest in public investment projects in socio-economic infrastructure in general and strategic infrastructure development in particular.
Implement a number of specific investment mechanisms and policies, create conditions to mobilize and diversify resources from enterprises, direct investors, public-private partnership resources, etc. to accelerate the progress of projects in technical infrastructure fields such as electricity, water supply, transport infrastructure, etc. in the spirit of harmonizing the interests between the State, enterprises and people.
Focus on effectively applying the achievements of the 4th Industrial Revolution, developing and transferring advanced technology. Continue to remove difficulties related to site clearance, construction materials, etc. in project implementation, ensuring ventilation and convenience.
