Comrade Tieu Hong Phuc, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council, attended and directed the Congress. Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Secretary of the Hong Thai Commune Party Committee Ngo Thi Hoai Trinh said: This Hong Thai Commune Party Committee Congress is of great significance. The Congress takes place in the context of the country entering a new phase, which is the administrative reform revolution, reorganizing the apparatus and administrative units, building a 2-level local government model in the direction of streamlining, being close to the people, operating effectively and efficiently and serving the people better.
With the theme: "Building a clean and strong Party and political system; operating effectively, efficiently and effectively; maintaining solidarity; ensuring national defense and security, promoting the spirit of innovation, accelerating the application of information technology and digital transformation; mobilizing resources for development investment". This is the goal to strive for and the driving force for the comprehensive development of the commune for the entire term 2025 - 2030.
The Congress report stated that Hong Thai commune has an area of 101.64 km2 , a population of 25,049 people, and was established on the basis of arranging the entire Phan Thanh commune, Hong Thai commune and part of the natural area of Hoa Thang commune. The locality has 6 ethnic groups including Kinh, Cham, Nung, Hoa, San Diu and Khmer. In the 2020 - 2025 term, the Party Committee, government and people of Hong Thai have basically completed and exceeded the targets and tasks set out in the Resolution of the Commune Party Congress. Notably, internal traffic and irrigation have received basic investment to meet the needs of production with a shift in the right direction. The total cultivated area and total food output increased compared to the 2015 - 2020 term.
Over the past 5 years, Hong Thai commune has well implemented the Party and State's policies and guidelines on preferential treatment for people with meritorious services and social protection. Mass mobilization work has seen many innovations. The close relationship between the Party and the people and the great national unity bloc have been maintained...
Promoting the achieved results, the Party Committee of Hong Thai commune for the 2025 - 2030 term sets out 5 key tasks and 3 breakthroughs that need to be focused on leading implementation. At the same time, it sets out a number of targets by 2030, namely, average income per capita reaches 78 million VND; the poverty rate according to multidimensional standards is below 3%; the rate of population participating in health insurance reaches 95%; striving for Party cells to complete their tasks well at 90% or more each year, the Party Committee of the commune to complete its tasks well at least; striving for the commune to maintain and raise the new rural standards by the end of the term...
The Party Committee of the commune continues to promote the land rich in revolutionary traditions to eliminate barriers and differences in culture, customs, methods and working styles, focusing on building and consolidating a truly solid internal solidarity bloc. Each member of the Standing Committee, Standing Committee and Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the commune must be a typical nucleus, the center of solidarity and cohesion, a reliable support for Party members, cadres and civil servants of the commune to promote their capacity, responsibility and dedication.

The close involvement of the Party Committee in leading and orienting well the planning work of the locality, especially land use planning, construction planning, urban and rural planning, and sectoral planning; paying attention to nurturing key sources of revenue; prioritizing and maximizing the mobilization of resources, especially non-budgetary resources to invest in infrastructure development...
Along with economic development, Hong Thai commune needs to pay attention to synchronously developing culture and society, inheriting, preserving and promoting, developing traditional cultural values, customs, and positive and unique practices of localities before the merger. Strengthening the application of information technology in management and operation to serve people and businesses quickly, conveniently, and transparently. Focusing on leadership to ensure political security stability, social order and safety. Carrying out well the work of Party building, improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations, the effectiveness and efficiency of the political system, promoting the recruitment of new Party members, especially in residential areas.

Previously, the Provincial Party Standing Committee decided to appoint the Executive Committee of the Hong Thai Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 19 comrades; the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee consists of 7 comrades. Comrade Ngo Thi Hoai Trinh was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Hong Thai Commune Party Committee, and 2 comrades held the positions of Deputy Secretaries of the Commune Party Committee, including: Nguyen Thi Thanh Hang and Phan Thanh Phuong.
