Representatives of the Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers and district leaders attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the delegates reviewed the 75-year journey of building, fighting and growing up of the Vietnam Youth Volunteer Force - a revolutionary organization established under the Directive of President Ho Chi Minh on July 15, 1950 during the resistance war against French colonialism. The delegates exchanged, shared and recalled memories during the resistance war and simple, touching stories in current life.

In 2005, the Association of Former Youth Volunteers of Quang Xuong District was established. Up to now, the Association has gone through 4 Congresses and currently has 6,000 members active in branches of 25 grassroots Association organizations.
After 20 years of operation, the Association of Former Youth Volunteers of Quang Xuong district has always been one of the leading and exemplary units with many outstanding movements and activities. In particular: the Association at all levels has always closely followed the political tasks and practical situation of the locality, well implemented the movements to study and follow the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh; built the District's Comradeship Fund with a balance of 10 billion VND to help members develop the economy, reduce poverty, participate in production, support families in difficult circumstances; take care of members' lives, support the construction of gratitude houses, grant savings books, organize visits when sick, and resolve policies for Youth Volunteers according to Decree 49 of the Government.
Performance at the anniversary ceremony
The meeting was a very meaningful activity, continuing to revive the heroic tradition of the Vietnam Youth Volunteer Force, while at the same time encouraging and motivating former Youth Volunteers to continue to promote the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, live exemplary lives, be loyal and actively contribute to the socio -economic development of the locality.
Chairman of the District Veterans Association presents gifts to members
On this occasion, the District Youth Volunteer Veterans Association presented gifts to 20 disadvantaged former Youth Volunteers, each gift worth 300,000 VND.
