On July 14, US President Donald Trump was caught putting the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ championship medal in his pocket during the award ceremony for Chelsea - the team that beat PSG 3-0 in the final.

After the game, Mr. Trump was present at MetLife Stadium to present the medals along with FIFA President Gianni Infantino. However, when all the medals were given to the players, people still saw Trump holding one.
