Kinhtedothi-On January 23, at the Special Session (19th Session) of the 20th term, 2021-2026, the People's Council of Thanh Tri district elected Mr. Nguyen Tien Cuong - Secretary of Thanh Tri District Party Committee to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh Tri district. Attending the session was Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Hanoi City Phung Thi Hong Ha.
Accordingly, at the Session, the People's Council of Thanh Tri district unanimously dismissed Mr. Dang Duc Quynh from the position of Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh Tri district, term XX, 2021 - 2026 due to transfer to another job and elected Mr. Nguyen Tien Cuong - Secretary of Thanh Tri District Party Committee, delegate of the People's Council of the district, term XX, 2021 - 2026 to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh Tri district, term XX, 2021 - 2026, with 97% of the votes.
At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Sy Thanh - District Party Committee member, Chairman of Thanh Tri District Farmers' Association, District People's Council delegate, term XX, 2021 - 2026, was elected to hold the position of Head of the Legal Committee of Thanh Tri District People's Council, term XX, 2021 - 2026.
Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of the District Party Committee - Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh Tri District Nguyen Tien Cuong sincerely thanked the delegates of the People's Council of the 20th term, 2021 - 2026 for their trust and affirmed that he will strive to perform well the duties and powers of the Chairman of the People's Council of the district in accordance with the provisions of law. At the same time, he will join the Standing Committee of the People's Council, the People's Council committees and the delegates of the People's Council of the district to strengthen solidarity, unity, promote democracy, concentrate intelligence, make efforts and strive to perform well the assigned duties and tasks, and soon build Thanh Tri district into a civilized and modern district of the capital.
Previously, at the conference organized by the Standing Committee of Thanh Tri District Party Committee, Mr. Dang Duc Quynh - Member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of Thanh Tri District People's Council was elected as Deputy Secretary of Thanh Tri District Party Committee, term XXIV, 2020 - 2025.
