According to the Report on the implementation of the Resolution of the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Tam Ky City for the 2019-2024 term, since the beginning of the term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front from the city to the communes and wards has promoted its role as chair, consulter, coordinater, and unifier with member organizations and authorities at all levels to actively innovate the content and methods of operation; flexibly and proactively implement the Action Program and Resolution of the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the city for the 2019-2024 term in a specific, practical and effective manner.

Campaigns and emulation movements have been widely and effectively implemented by the Vietnam Fatherland Front from the city to the grassroots level; social security activities have received timely attention, especially the mobilization of support for people during the COVID-19 pandemic; activities of supervision, social criticism, and contributions to Party and government building have become increasingly practical and effective.

The achievements of the Front's work in recent times have important significance, enhancing the role and position of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the city's political system; consolidating and promoting the great national unity bloc, enhancing social consensus, successfully implementing the city's economic - political, cultural - social, defense - security goals.

Notably, over the past 5 years, the Vietnam Fatherland Front from the city to the commune and ward levels has chaired 181 thematic supervision meetings; 73 "direct dialogue" conferences between the heads of Party committees and authorities with the people; coordinated to mobilize 1,800 households to comply with the policy of compensation, site clearance, and resettlement; mobilized people to donate nearly 46,800m2 ^of land and architectural objects, trees to implement projects with a total value of about 62 billion VND.

Congratulating the congress and affirming that this is a major event of the city, Mr. Vo Xuan Ca - Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee suggested some major orientations in the coming time. In particular, promoting the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in implementing action programs to contribute to building the city; stepping up propaganda work, protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people.

At the same time, strengthen and expand the great solidarity bloc of the people in the city; proactively innovate the content and methods of operation, focus on the grassroots, promote the role of self-management and the creative spirit of the people to effectively carry out the movements.

At the congress, Mr. Nguyen Ba - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tam Ky City for the 2019 - 2024 term was re-elected as Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city for the 2024 - 2029 term.
