Nissan Roox - "matchbox car" as spacious as an MPV, from only 288 million VND

In the Japanese market, the newly launched 2025 Nissan Roox kei car model has a starting price of only 1.6 million Yen (equivalent to about 288 million VND).

Nissan has just launched a new generation of kei car called Roox 2025 in the Japanese market. In the new generation, the car has some changes in design and more technology and safety equipment.

The fourth generation Nissan Roox continues to carry the small, square and lovely appearance that is typical of the famous kei car line in Japan. The car is designed to maximize interior space while still complying with the strict regulations of the super small car segment.

Although retaining the same overall design as the previous generation, the 2025 Nissan Roox has completely changed the front of the car. Here, the car is equipped by Nissan with new headlights and LED strips that cover the entire front.

The same story goes on the side of the car, where the entire body is new. The new 2025 Nissan Roox still retains the rear sliding door - a practical feature that has been present since the previous generation.

According to Nissan, the kei car's interior has been stretched by 115 mm, making it spacious enough to accommodate four adults. The rear seats can slide forward 320 mm, increasing versatility. Meanwhile, the luggage compartment can now hold up to four 48-liter suitcases.

In particular, this is the most modern version ever of the Nissan Roox line. This can be seen through equipment such as a 12.3-inch touch screen infotainment screen. This is the largest central touch screen ever on a kei car model in the Japanese market, similar to its brother Mitsubishi Delica Mini.

In addition, the car also has an intelligent panoramic camera system with Invisible Hood View feature, allowing the driver to see "through the engine compartment" and observe under the chassis, making it easier to detect obstacles.

Not stopping there, the Nissan Roox 2025 also has a standard 3D observation system along with a series of advanced safety technologies such as the ProPILOT steering assist system, intelligent emergency braking, intelligent blind spot warning & intervention, or rear cross-traffic warning system.

When purchasing the 2025 Nissan Roox, Japanese customers have many personalization options such as 17 different paint colors, including 6 two-tone options and 7 monochrome colors, applicable to both the standard Standard version as well as the sporty Highway STAR.

Detailed specifications of the car have not been announced yet. However, it is likely that the car will still retain the 658 cc gasoline engine, with a maximum capacity of 52 horsepower and a maximum torque of 60 Nm.
