With the 2026 Hyundai Tucson facelift, the changes focus on exterior details and engine lineup. The standard version is equipped with newly designed 17-inch alloy wheels, while each engine option will have its own wheel design. The 2.0 MPi engine on the 2026 Tucson in the Australian market remains the only pure petrol option, with the 1.6 T-GDi engine being dropped. The new Tucson comes in three versions, with the N Line sports package only applicable to the Elite and Premium.
Notably, Hyundai Australia has adjusted prices slightly downward depending on the version. In addition, the paint color palette has been updated with a new color, Ecotronic Grey (pearl effect). The 2026 Hyundai Tucson N Line version has an exclusive matte paint option. The car has a starting price of $27,600 in Australia.
Meanwhile, the 5th generation SantaFe – launched globally from mid-2023 – does not have many major changes other than a price increase of $260 across the entire product range. The standard version uses new 18-inch alloy wheels, the 2.5 T-GDi and Hybrid versions have different wheel designs. The price of the 2026 Hyundai SantaFe starts from 53,400 AUD (equivalent to 34,600 USD). What both SUVs have in common is that they are equipped with Hyundai Digital Key 2.
