Ninh Binh: Discovered and temporarily seized nearly 5,000 children's shoes and clothing products of unknown origin

The provincial Market Management Department has just coordinated with the Department of Cyber Security and High-tech Crime Prevention and Control, the provincial police to conduct a surprise inspection of the children's footwear and clothing business "Chao.kids" owned by Ms. Pham Thi Van in Hamlet 4A, Khanh Nhac Commune, Yen Khanh District.

The Provincial Market Management Force conducted a surprise inspection of a business establishment in Khanh Nhac commune, Yen Khanh district.

At the time of inspection, the inspection team discovered nearly 5,000 products of shoes, children's clothing of all kinds with signs of smuggled goods; goods of unknown origin, with a value of nearly 300 million VND. The owner of the establishment has not yet presented invoices or legal documents for the above goods. In addition, the business establishment owned by Ms. Pham Thi Van is operating in the form of a business household but has not registered to establish a business household as prescribed. The inspection team has temporarily detained and sealed all of the above goods to continue verifying and clarifying the violations and handling them according to the provisions of law.

This is one of the activities in the peak period of inspection and handling of smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods, especially in the e-commerce environment, deployed by the Market Management Department of Ninh Binh province.
