The traditional house of Vietnam Textile Industry was renovated and built from the traditional house of Nam Dinh Textile Joint Stock Corporation; it still retains the ancient architectural marks of France.

Taking us to visit the Traditional House, Ms. Pham Thi Thu Ha, an officer of the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Textile and Garment Group, proudly shared that Nam Dinh Textile Factory was honored to welcome Uncle Ho to visit three times in 1957, 1959 and 1963. Currently, the Traditional House still preserves many images, autographs, and souvenirs related to President Ho Chi Minh , especially the room where Uncle Ho stayed during his two visits and work at the factory in 1957 and 1963.

The room where Uncle Ho rested was arranged and decorated very simply, with a bed and a desk and chair in the middle. Next to the window was a set of furniture for receiving guests, including a table and two chairs. In the room, there was also a pith helmet, khaki clothes, and rubber sandals that Uncle Ho used during a visit to work at the factory.

In particular, Uncle Ho's New Year's telegram sent to workers and staff of Nam Dinh Textile Factory on December 28, 1963. In the telegram, there is a paragraph that reads: "...Uncle Ho cordially sends his compliments to the workers and staff who have competed to successfully implement the 1963 plan ahead of schedule. Uncle Ho wishes you all a happy and healthy New Year and to strive to compete to achieve greater victories to keep up with the brothers and sisters of the Pyongyang Textile Factory."

From the room's window, one can see the luxuriant, shady ebony tree and the stone bench where Uncle Ho sat to discuss work with comrades Le Duc Tho, Le Van Luong and other leaders of Nam Dinh province during his last visit to the factory in 1963.
