Many world scientists come to Quy Nhon to attend the Advanced Summer School on Quantum Field Theory

On June 9, the Advanced Summer School on Quantum Field Theory and Quantum Gravity 2025 officially opened at the International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE, Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh).

The Summer School is organized by the Vietnam Rencontres du Vietnam and the ICISE Center in collaboration with the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN, France). This year, it brings together more than 60 leading scientists in the field, young scientists, and graduate students from 22 countries and territories, taking place from June 9 to 20.

In particular, this year's Summer School is honored to have direct and online guidance from many of the world's leading scientists in the field, such as: Professor Juan Maldacena - Princeton Institute for Advanced Study (USA); Professor Andrew Strominger - Harvard University (USA); Professor Erik Verlinde - University of Amsterdam (Netherlands); Professor Shiraz Minwalla - Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai (India); Professor Dam Thanh Son - University of Chicago (USA)...

In addition, the Summer School also has the participation of scientists from many prestigious universities and research institutes around the world in teaching and academic support.

Initiated by Prof. Laurent Baulieu nearly 30 years ago at the Cargèse Science Conference Center, Corsica Island (Southern France), the “Advanced Summer School on Quantum Field Theory and Quantum Gravity” has been organized for more than 14 sessions, attracting more than 1,000 international students.

The summer school took place from June 9 to 20, bringing together more than 60 leading scientists in the field, young scientists, and graduate students from 22 countries and territories.

The summer school is sponsored by more than 30 world-leading theoretical physics professors, including 4 Nobel Prize winners, 3 of whom have visited Vietnam and participated in scientific activities at ICISE. Not only is it an in-depth academic forum, the summer school also acts as an international academic bridge, contributing to the formation of a network of young researchers in the field of quantum physics - one of the pillars of modern fundamental science.

The main objective of the Summer School is to create conditions for young researchers and scientists at home and abroad to access, exchange, and discuss in depth the latest advances in quantum field theory and quantum gravity.
