On May 22, the Investigation Police Agency of Gia Lai Province Police said it had sent a document to the Department of Justice and the Provincial Land Registration Office regarding the temporary suspension of asset transfer of Mr. Dang Hong Ha (born in 1980, residing in Chi Lang Ward, Pleiku City).
Accordingly, the Investigation Police Agency of Gia Lai Province is checking and verifying the source of information about the crime of accusing Mr. Dang Hong Ha of fraud and property appropriation occurring in this province.
Previously, 3 households including Mr. Kring and his wife (born in 1953, residing in Plei Brel village, Bien Ho commune, Pleiku city), Mr. Phuk and his wife (born in 1961, residing in Gla commune, Dak Doa district, Gia Lai) and Mr. Chien (born in 1985, residing in Phung village, Bien Ho commune) filed a complaint accusing Mr. Dang Hong Ha of fraud and property appropriation.

According to the accusation, taking advantage of the lack of knowledge of ethnic minorities, Mr. Ha used deceitful tricks, providing false information so that the above households would give him the original land use right certificates (LURCs) to help with the procedures to convert from the old LURC to the new LURC or give them to Ha to mortgage for loans.
After having the original land use right certificate, Ha told the above individuals to sign documents to complete the procedures to change the new certificate or sign a loan paper, but in fact, they signed a contract to transfer their land use rights to Dang Hong Ha or some individuals designated by Ha.
Believing Ha's words, from 2017 to 2022, Mr. Kring and his wife, Mr. Phuk and his wife, and Mr. Chien agreed to go with Mr. Ha to Xuan Hiep Notary Office to sign notarized contracts to transfer 4 land use rights in Pleiku City and Glar Commune, Dak Doa District to Mr. Ha, and this person appropriated and transferred them to another person.
