Thuy Ta Restaurant in Da Lat is being re-auctioned, starting price 36.5 billion VND

On June 23, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee announced that it had just approved the starting price to conduct an auction to lease Thuy Ta Da Lat restaurant.

Accordingly, this restaurant will be auctioned for a 10-year lease at a price of 36.5 billion VND. This starting price has increased by 20% compared to the last auction (October 2023).

Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to review the final procedures for asset auctions before organizing them. Da Lat City People's Committee was assigned to select the auction organization and supervise the implementation.

Previously, the People's Committee of Da Lat City said it had completed the review, collected information and re-proposed the starting price for the auction to lease Thuy Ta restaurant (Da Lat City) for 10 years.

The winning bidder must maintain the current status quo and not add any additional structures. The expected auction date is 2024.

Thuy Ta Restaurant Dalat is located on one of two islands associated with the national scenic spot Xuan Huong Lake. This location is considered the most favorable in Dalat. The total land area is over ^3,800m2 .

The auction of the right to lease Thuy Ta restaurant attracted attention in 2023. At that time, Lam Dong province offered a starting price for the auction to lease the house and land of Thuy Ta restaurant of more than 3.04 billion VND/year, including the house rental price of 378 million VND/year and the land rental price of 2.662 billion VND/year, with a lease term of 10 years.

In October 2023, Mr. Doan Hai Ha ( Hanoi ) won the auction to rent the house and land of Thuy Ta restaurant after 63 bidding steps. The winning bid was set at 15.15 billion VND/year. The auction winner must pay for the use of the restaurant for 10 years, a total of more than 151.5 billion VND.

Then Mr. Ha refused to pay more than 150 billion VND to receive the lease rights and forfeited the deposit of more than 608 million VND.
