Beachfront restaurant in Nha Trang gets land lease extension

On April 11, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee announced that Mr. Le Huu Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, has just signed a decision allowing Nha Trang Sailing Club Joint Venture Company Limited to extend the land use at Sailing Club restaurant, Loc Tho Ward, Nha Trang City from April 1 to December 31, 2024.

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee requests Nha Trang Sailing Club Joint Venture Company Limited to be responsible for using the land for the right purpose, fulfilling its financial obligations to the state, using the land in its current state, complying with the relocation and handing over of the land when there is a notice of land recovery (including during the period of using leased land) and not requesting compensation.

Sailing Club Restaurant is located close to the 2,369 ^m2 beach, in the most prime location in Nha Trang City. Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee leased the land to Nha Trang Sailing Club Joint Venture Company Limited for business services, bars, and restaurants. The land lease term is 20 years, from September 30, 2003 to September 30, 2023.

After the expiration date, the company sent a dispatch requesting Khanh Hoa province to allow it to extend the short-term land lease each year to continue doing business until the zoning plan for the eastern side of Tran Phu - Pham Van Dong street is approved.

In October 2023, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee issued a document agreeing to allow the company to extend the land lease for another 2 months (from November 1 to December 31, 2023).

Previously, after 20 years of operation, the Ana Mandara resort, covering more than 26,000 square meters ^and stretching nearly 400 meters along Nha Trang beach, was also dismantled, relocated and returned to serve the community.

The area along the east side of Tran Phu - Pham Van Dong Street (Nha Trang City) with a total length of about 15 km, an area of about 240 hectares, has a special landscape and plays an important role in the overall development of tourism , is a coastal park strip serving the public of Nha Trang City. In order to effectively manage land, space, and landscape architecture of this area according to the above-mentioned purposes, the Provincial People's Committee has developed an urban design project for the area east of Tran Phu - Pham Van Dong Street in the direction of creating a green park strip, combined with public services.
