Wanner Reisemobile, famous for its Mercedes-Benz motorhomes, is the maker of the Mini Silverdream - possibly one of the world's smallest mobile homes. It's designed specifically for couples, which makes the "home" all the more impressive given how small it is.
The Mini Silverdream was unveiled to the public at the CMT Stuttgart 2025 exhibition and immediately became the center of attention. Currently, the Mini Silverdream is also famous on social media thanks to its own TikTok channel, where Max Wanner often shares his life on the road with this tiny mobile home.
The Mini Silverdream can be described as a miniature Silverdream, but the space is still surprising with a full kitchen, living area that doubles as a bed, and plenty of storage - Photo: Wanner Reisemobile
To make everything fit in the small space, some changes have been made. For example, the roof has been changed to a pop-up tent so the owner can stand upright. The Mini Silverdream is only 3.4m long, 1.5m wide, and has a very low height (this size is only slightly larger than the Wuling Mini EV). But when the tent is opened, it reaches 2m high, enough to stand comfortably in the kitchen area - Photo: YouTube/German Television
The "modified" is a 2009 Mazda Scrum, which is a kei car imported from Japan. The car uses a 660cc engine, manual transmission and 4-wheel drive. Originally made for the Japanese, the steering wheel is on the right, but Max and his sister Lisa said they hardly felt any inconvenience because the car is so narrow. But that's not necessarily a negative point, everything is within reach and Max confirmed that the bed and overall this tiny mobile home is still quite comfortable - Photo: mini.silverdream/TikTok
To compensate for the limited space, Max installed mesh storage bags everywhere, including inside the pop-up tent, to store plates, cooking utensils, etc. - Photo: YouTube/German Television
The two chairs at the main dining table cannot be used as storage like many other mobile homes, because underneath is a solar power system - something Max really wants to invest in so that the Mini can be self-sufficient in electricity - Photo: mini.silverdream/TikTok

The Mini Silverdream is also equipped with a compact kitchen with a sink and an electric stove. Although there is no gas stove, there is a single electric stove and a 15-liter mini fridge - Photo: YouTube/German Television
The fridge also doubles as a third seat, so in theory three people can sit around a small dining table, although in reality it can be a bit cramped. Despite its small size, this mobile home is a true "mini monster" in terms of electricity. Max installed 500W solar panels on the roof, 500Ah lithium batteries, and a 3,000W inverter. Everything from the lights, 15-liter refrigerator, single electric stove, stew pot to four ventilation fans are all powered by solar energy. The main heating source is a gas heater, but Max also installed an electric heater to save gas when needed - Photo: YouTube/German Television
In a recent interview, Max and Lisa mentioned a tiny toilet hidden somewhere in the car, but did not reveal its location. They also did not specify the capacity of the water tank, but it is estimated to be around 5 - 10 liters under the kitchen sink - Photo: YouTube/German Television
Of course, while it can operate off-grid, the mini mobile home isn't suitable for long trips, but rather a super compact, garage-ready solution, ideal for weekend trips. The Mini Silverdream is a one-off, with no plans to mass-produce it or cater to other customers. The car was built primarily to attract customers to the company's main Silverdream line. If the Mini Silverdream were to be produced, the price would depend on the "modification". Wanner said the cost of building the Mini Silverdream would be around 40,000 - 50,000 euros (1.2 billion - 1.5 billion VND) - a very high number for a small motorhome, but acceptable for a concept car. If mass-produced, the cost would be lower - Photo: mini.silverdream/TikTok
