Therefore, at this time, bonsai pot production facilities in La Gi town are busy making beautiful bonsai pots in time to supply the market for the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024.

Plant pots are an indispensable item for flower and ornamental plant players.

We often admire many beautiful bonsai pots, but few people know that to make such pots, the maker must go through many elaborate and arduous stages. The work of the pot molder starts from early morning until late at night, when they can rest. From 4 am, Mr. Nguyen Van Phi in Binh An 2 village, Tan Binh commune, La Gi town has been assembling the mold to prepare for the pot molding work.

Born in 1999, although only 24 years old, Mr. Nguyen Van Phi has more than 4 years of experience in the profession of casting bonsai pots. It is known that the main type of pots that his facility produces is hexagonal pots that are painted, decorated, diverse in patterns and extremely beautiful. Especially to supply the Tet market, on this occasion, the patterns that he focuses on decorating the pots are apricot blossoms, peach blossoms, spring words, Tet words, the words Phuc - Loc - Tho ... so that homeowners can decorate their homes with bonsai pots that have the meaning of joy and bustling spring atmosphere.

Only by seeing the skillful hands of the pot molders can one fully appreciate the delicacy and technique of the skilled workers. Sweating, using his rough hands to gently rub the edge of the pot, Phi continuously turned and poured concrete to make the pot. About 2-3 hours later, he proceeded to remove the inner part of the pot. And within 20-24 hours, after the pot had hardened enough, Phi removed the outer mold and applied a thin layer of cement. Phi said that this is one of the small details, but very important, the cement water will help the surface of the finished pot to be smoother and more beautiful. It is known that every day like that, starting from 4am to 10pm, Phi and 2 workers cast 2 finished bonsai pots. And about 5 days later, after being "sun-dried", these bonsai pots will be "dressed" by the craftsmen with colorful "coats" according to the tastes and aesthetic preferences of the customers.

While making bonsai pots, Mr. Phi confided to us: "Although the profession of making bonsai pots does not require much technique, it requires sophistication and creativity. The products must be durable and the craftsman must be careful and meticulous in the pot painting stage. Only then can it meet the needs and tastes of bonsai players."

The process of painting pots requires the worker to be very delicate, careful and meticulous.

There are many different sizes, so the price of the pots sold is also different, depending on the size, the smallest one will cost 100,000 VND, and the largest one is about 5 million VND. Depending on the needs and preferences, bonsai players can choose bonsai pots that fit their "budget".

The finished pots are being “sun-dried” before being painted, drawn, decorated… by the craftsman.

The bonsai pots have been "dressed" in brilliant "shirts".

It is known that, not only retail, but Mr. Phi's pot production facility also regularly supplies pots to flower and ornamental plant stores in and outside the province.
