On the afternoon of March 24, the Provincial Steering Committee for the General Inventory of Public Assets held a meeting to listen to reports on the results and progress of the general inventory of public assets and infrastructure assets in the province. Comrade Vu Van Dien, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for the General Inventory of Public Assets chaired the meeting.

Comrade Vu Van Dien, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for the General Inventory of Public Assets of the province, gave a speech at the meeting.

According to the report of the Department of Finance, the whole province has 1,216 agencies and units subject to the inventory of public assets and infrastructure assets. To date, 1,206/1,209 agencies and units have approved the public asset inventory report. The agencies and units also conducted an inventory of 13 types of infrastructure assets. Of which, some infrastructures have completed the inventory such as: Road infrastructure, fishing port infrastructure, urban underground infrastructure...   Currently, the Department of Finance has received 4 reports from specialized departments including: Department of Agriculture and Environment, Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Construction, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Vu Van Dien, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for the General Inventory of Public Assets of the province emphasized that according to Plan 114/KH-UBND dated April 26, 2024, agencies and units synthesize and report the results of the inventory of public assets to the Department of Finance before March 31; synthesize and report the results of the general inventory of infrastructure assets by each sector and field to the Department of Finance before April 30, the Department of Finance synthesizes the results of the general inventory of assets of the whole province to the Provincial People's Committee to report to the Ministry of Finance before May 31.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Finance to actively coordinate with agencies and units to thoroughly review the types of assets that must be inventoried, especially newly invested assets and assets with delayed settlement; at the same time, develop a form to guide localities to continue updating assets from 0:00 on January 1, 2025; actively guide agencies and units during the implementation process. Members of the Provincial and local Steering Committees need to pay attention to the timeline to have drastic solutions to complete according to the schedule of the Provincial People's Committee; regularly discuss to remove arising obstacles; focus maximumly on speeding up the inventory progress.
