Nghe An provides emergency support to 110 families with children affected by floods

On July 29, Nghe An Department of Health coordinated with the Provincial Children's Support Fund and the People's Committees of Huu Kiem and Tuong Duong communes to present emergency relief gifts to households with children severely affected by storm No. 3.

The delegation included Mr. Nguyen Van Nam - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of Nghe An Department of Health ; Mr. Nguyen Trong Viet - Director of the Provincial Children's Fund; Mr. Phan Dinh Hiep - Manager of the Safety and Health Program, Blue Dragon International.

During this time, the delegation presented a total of 110 gifts to households affected by the storm, including 60 gifts in Huu Kiem commune and 50 gifts in Tuong Duong commune. Each gift included essential necessities such as: rice, dry food, cooking oil, fish sauce, clean water...

All relief goods are transported free of charge by Tuan Vinh traffic rescue vehicles to gift-giving points, contributing to ensuring that relief work takes place quickly, safely and effectively.

This meaningful activity is within the framework of the Project "Improving social services and support for children in special circumstances, victims affected by human trafficking in the period 2024-2026" sponsored by Blue Dragon Organization, through the Nghe An Provincial Children's Protection Fund.

This is a practical action, demonstrating the spirit of sharing, contributing to helping families overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives after natural disasters./.
