Many prominent destinations such as Cua Lo, Kim Lien Relic Site, Pu Mat National Park, Vinh City or Muong Thanh Green Land Dien Lam continue to attract a large number of tourists, especially during holidays and the peak summer season. Coastal accommodation establishments recorded high room occupancy rates, reflecting the trend of resort and beach bathing still dominating.

In addition, the trend of green tourism, community tourism and cultural-ecological experiences is increasingly popular, contributing to promoting the formation and development of new tourism products suitable to market tastes.

Tourism promotion and linkage activities are also focused on, notably the Conference "Nghe An - Thanh Hoa - Ninh Binh: Green tourism journey" held on the sidelines of the VITM Hanoi 2025 Fair and programs to survey new tourism products and thematic seminars with the participation of many domestic travel businesses.

Despite many positive results, Nghe An tourism still has bottlenecks such as slow progress in implementing some key projects, difficulties in attracting large investors and the impact of restructuring the organizational apparatus in some localities.

At the same time, the province will promote, organize scientific seminars, professional competitions and domestic and international promotion activities to strengthen connectivity and expand the market.
